Feature Development: SF-36 Standard Scoring Integration
I led the successful integration of QualityMetric’s SF-36 scoring software and developed standardized ePRO questionnaires within Koneksa Health's study platform, streamlining data collection and ensuring consistency across projects.
The SF-36 (Short Form) is a widely recognized questionnaire comprising 36 patient-facing questions that evaluate both general physical and mental health. It provides health domain scores and composite scores derived from responses, which can be utilized as credible data in FDA submissions. These scores are generated using QualityMetric’s certified scoring software.
In a recent project at Koneksa Health, I contributed to a study that employed the SF-36 questionnaire to assess disease progression within a specific therapeutic area. This longitudinal study utilized Koneksa’s innovative study platform for implementation.
In my role, I prioritized feature development that enhances the platform’s versatility across multiple projects. Specifically, I spearheaded the integration of QualityMetric’s certified scoring software into our platform. This integration allowed for automated scoring of SF-36 questionnaires upon completion, with results stored securely in a designated data lake.
Additionally, I led the development of standardized ePRO (electronic patient-reported outcome) questionnaires as a selectable option within our configurable study platform. This initiative not only streamlines platform configuration for users but also ensures the consistent implementation of SF-36 across future projects. These efforts showcase my commitment to optimizing platform functionality and promoting data standardization for enhanced research outcomes.
